Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 2026

1. Our Position

Deka has a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) material, including any content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors. This applies to all user-generated content on the platform, including posts, images, videos, comments, direct messages, group chats, marketplace listings, and profile information.

Any account found to be creating, distributing, or possessing such material will be immediately and permanently banned, and all associated content will be removed.

2. Age Requirements

Deka is intended for users aged 18 and over. Users must be of the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction to create an account and use the service. We do not knowingly allow minors to register or use the app.

If we become aware that a user is under the required age, their account will be suspended and deleted, and all associated data will be permanently removed.

3. Prohibited Content

The following is strictly prohibited on Deka:

4. How to Report Child Safety Concerns

If you encounter content or behaviour on Deka that you believe involves the sexual exploitation or abuse of children, please report it immediately.

In-app reporting: Deka provides a Report action on posts, user profiles, marketplace listings, direct messages, and group chats. When reporting, select the "Child Safety / Exploitative Content" reason. You may also add additional details to help us review the report. Reports are submitted confidentially — the reported user is not notified of who filed the report.

Email: You can also report child safety concerns directly by emailing ryanfitzgibbon2003@gmail.com. Please include as much detail as possible, such as the username or content involved.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local law enforcement authorities before or in addition to reporting through Deka.

5. How We Respond to Reports

Deka is operated by a solo developer based in Ireland. While we do not have a large trust-and-safety team, every child safety report is treated with the highest priority. Our response process is as follows:
